Älven Runt takes place on May 14 and August 20, both with timing. This popular forest hike in Borlänge starts at Tunabygden's old farm and stretches five kilometers along the river in both directions. During the hike, refreshments are enjoyed at a peaceful spot with a beautiful view, and at the Engelbrekt monument opposite Domnarvsforsen, participants gather for photography. This was the site of Borganäs fortress, which was burned down by Engelbrekt and his Dalarna men in the 15th century.
